What if you crossed the polite speech of C-3PO with the bloodthirsty personality of an assassin? You get this literal killing machine with easily the most quotable dialogue in the whole game. HK-47 is the second optional party member of Knights of the Old Republic, and yet, this Assassin Droid stands tall over all the other party members. She will only rejoin the party again should the player choose the Dark Side path, at which point she becomes by far the best party member in the game, able to deal powerful attacks and debilitating abilities using the Dark Side. What becomes of her after her fall is ultimately up to the player.īastila is the first Jedi to join the party, and she remains a mighty party member up until her capture by Darth Malak, able to use Lightsaber and Force abilities well. She can almost be seen as somewhat of a second protagonist as her character does go through some development through the story…though in the end, she cannot escape the lure of the Dark Side. And while she does her best to remain humble, it’s clear from interactions with her that some of the faith has gone to her head, giving her a level of arrogance.
